Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking talented Civil Engineer with experience in either site roadway municipal or airports. Also a background in lighting/signage installation navigational aids drainage improvements utility relocation / protection and pavement rehabilitation) to join our team in Des Moines Iowa.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Developing civil airfield design municipal projects site design and construction improvement documents
- Coordinating with planning and design team members contractors and subconsultants for ongoing planning design and construction projects
- Performing civil design planning construction support and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports
- Plan direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways taxiways aprons drainage improvements utility relocation and protection and pavement rehabilitation
- Will be involved with projects from start to completion including planning design and construction administration including grading drainage pavement design specifications and construction safety plans
- Collaborating and/or coordinating delivery teams consisting of multidiscipline design engineers and technicians
- AutoCAD or MicroStation 3D modeling mentoring
- Supervise coordinated and production of several projects concurrently.
- Establishes positive client relationships
- Coordinate with clients funding agencies state aviation officials FAA and local permit Agencies
- Includes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or Open Roads Designer
- Experience with civil site development or airfield design and construction
- EI or PE preferably State of Iowa
