Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach this town played an iconic role in the emergence of Californias surf culture and today is celebrated for its laidback vibe and fun active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms 115000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants a beach club lounge marketplace and inroom dining.

In this role you will be overseeing the daytoday operations of 33 North. Directly managing 25 Team Members working collaboratively with the Director of Beverage and reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage.
The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences a talent for training and developing others and experiencedinall aspectsof restaurant operations (ex. financial performance social media reputation local market capture and employee relations). At least 3 years of management experience in an upscale dining environment is required. Strong beverage knowledge and prior luxury hotel experience are a plus.
- Classification:FullTime
- Shift: Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.
- Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $80000.00 $90000.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing
You would be responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of 33 North in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manage all outlet operations to include but not limited toguest service standards and initiatives product quality cost controls and overall profitability marketing initiatives systems use and management budgeting and forecasting department management policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include but not limited to providing supervision and professional development conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Monitor and assess product and service and satisfaction trends evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Initiate and implement marketing and upselling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue
- Plans coordinates and facilitates recreational activities and programming for children and adults ensuring the highest quality of Waldorf standards are met for recreational activities facility cleanliness and administrative operations.
- Ensure team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings products services facilities events pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
- Recruit interview and train team members
