Opportunity to Lead a Strategic Program:
Reshape Amazons Speed Perception and Reduce CosttoServe. Join our dynamic team and lead a pivotal program within Amazons IES DEX organization to drive sustainable change and transform the customer experience across the Amazon shopping funnel.

As a Senior TPM you will be responsible for building regionaware and speedoptimized experiences that enhance Amazons speed perception while simultaneously reducing the overall CosttoServe. Through your innovative thinking and crossfunctional collaboration you will shape the future of Amazons operational efficiency and customer delight.
In this role you will lead and work with a talented team to innovate and deliver business and software solutions. Your ability to define and develop analytical solutions is essential. You will work with teams across Amazon and interact with business stakeholders directly. In addition successful candidates will lead by example balance analytical responsibilities while participating in cross team efforts including architecture planning.
To be successful in this role you should be comfortable gathering requirements across the many retail systems creating and maintaining technical project plans and diving into the technical details to understand the nuances and complexities involved. If this sounds like you lets talk more!
Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have handson project and program management skills leading large crossfunctional projects from definition to launch.
As a Technical Program Manager on the team you will:
Have end to end ownership of crossfunctional projects including program definition roadmap planning resource planning and project execution.
Manage multiple complex systems and organizations make appropriate tradeoffs between business vs. technical constraints clearly communicate goals roles and responsibilities.
Be hands on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives managing all aspects of the project such as project planning requirements definition risk management communication and implementation planning.
Work closely with business and operations leadership including executive leadership at Amazon to define the product and provide updates on the program.
Be a technical problem solver on the team identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.
Oversee both business initiatives and strategic projects focused on reducing launch time and total cost.
Own project decisions achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.

5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Strong business and technical vision
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
A deep understanding of software development in a team and a track record of shipping software on time
Proven ability to influence senior leadership (Director VP) level

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
