Job Description
- Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times
- Operates various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance such as automatic scrubbers floor machines and wet/dry vacuum
- Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment before use
- Provides floor care including buffing and burnishing on a hard surface
- Provides floor maintenance including but not limited to stripping waxing buffing shampooing bonneting and extracting carpets
- Moves furniture and other heavy objects
- Performs other cleaning duties as specified in the schedule
- Possess considerable knowledge of the operation use and care of vacuum cleaners scrubbing machines polishing machines and general housekeeping equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints (due to schedule and lastminute job requests)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
- Must be able to move through the worksite physically
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stooping squatting lifting carrying and pushing
- Wearing protective equipment such as latex gloves per OSHA regulations is required
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- 1year strip/wax and buffing of floors. Expectedduties:carpet cleaning stripping & waxing buffingfloors grout cleaning burnishing offloors etc. Assist management in the daily operation of specific contract services delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner.
