Madison County Government offers a competitive compensation package including:
Functions in a multidisciplinary team to provide a professional and child friendly environment to assist in the investigation of child sexual abuse and serious physical abuse. Conducts victim sensitive forensic interviews with the child victim as part of the investigative process. Types and reviews interview reports for provision to members of the multidisciplinary team. Testifies in court or DCFS administrative hearings upon request.
Bachelors degree in human services or similar field (social work criminal justice or counseling) related to the mission of the CAC and two years related experience in providing services for children and families. A valid Illinois Drivers License is required. Madison County residency required.

Continually work toward credentialing with the National Association of Certified Child Forensic Interviewers with documented progress each year with the end goal of Diplomate Child Forensic Interviewer. Training may be
documented before application is submitted.

Attend a national conference related to forensic interviewing or child
advocacy center work
