Job Description
AlphaGraphics Portsmouth is actively seeking an individual to join our Large Format production team. The diverse product offerings at AlphaGraphics requires an ability to learn a variety of techniques and technologies including printing finishing vinyl wraps sign application and installation. Our Large Format Specialist will be responsible for all facets of digital print production including the use management and maintenance of our large format printers and finishing equipment. More than anything were looking for highlycollaborative and dependable teammates that are driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business. We are a small passionate and fastpaced team that is fully invested in the success of our company and we value contributions from each team member. This is a parttime position for about 20 hours per week (depending on demand this may increase).
- Operate large format printers and finishing equipment
- Digital Print Production as needed
- Operate PostPress Equipment
- Large Format & Sign Finishing with Installation when necessary
- Understanding of Large Format Design and execution is a plus but not required: setting up files for cut vinyl analyzing files for large signage understanding of differences in substrates including vehicle graphics wraps and custom vinyl installations is also beneficial
- Other essential functions needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output

- Must be willing and capable of learning new methods and technologies
- Cooperative interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multitasking strong multitasking ability
- Basic math skills and ability to use a computer
- Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work at a table over waist high
- Effective Communication Skills (oral and written)
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload while staying organized
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with current signs print and copy technology (highly desirable)
- Working knowledge of computer technology
- Positive can do attitude (this is critical!)
