Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist Hand Therapist (CHT)
Location: 5400 Shawnee Rd. Alexandria VA 22312
Schedule: Fulltime MonFri
Compensation:$82000 $100000 (pending experience)
Incentives: $20000 bonus and our student loan repayment program of $350/month!
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a fulltime Hand Therapist Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center in Alexandria! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred we are willing to consider occupational/ohysical therapists with one (1) year of experience in hand therapy which can include a level II fieldwork in hands. We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
- High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
- Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
- RelationshipBuilding: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of occupational therapy
- One (1) year of experience in hand therapy
- CPR certification
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and postop orthopedic
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
