Heres What You Need
Bachelors Degree Medical Technology Applied Technology Clinical Lab Science or Chemical Physical or Biological Science required.
5 years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist.
2 years leadership experience preferred.
HT(ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) strongly preferred.
MT(ASCP) Medical Technologist Upon Hire Or CT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) Upon hire
Other AMT AAB HHS NCA HEW CLS CA FL NY state license Philippine Board of Technical Technology Upon Hire Or HT (ASCP) is supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology required
What You Will Do
Supervise all aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory to include the Gross Room Immunohistochemistry Frozen Section Rooms and Specimen Processing
Oversees work schedules of Histotechnologists
Resolves quality control discrepancies
Participates in training of staff
Ensures Anatomic Pathology Laboratory complies with the CAP guidelines
