Job Description
Role: Backend Engineer
As a BackEnd Engineer your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the serverside logic of web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers product managers and database administrators to design develop and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems. Your role will involve writing clean and maintainable code optimizing database queries and ensuring the security and performance of the serverside infrastructure. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand software requirements and design efficient and scalable backend solutions. Develop serverside logic APIs and web services using programming languages such as Java Python or Ruby. Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.
Skills:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with strong programming skills in languages such as Java Python or Ruby.
- Experience with backend frameworks and technologies such as Spring Django or Ruby on Rails.
- Proficient in database management systems SQL and query optimization. Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML CSS and JavaScript. Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and code repositories. Strong problemsolving and analytical skills to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to write clean modular and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate are preferred.
