Join Our Team as a Build and Release Engineer (Azure / Jenkins)
Were looking for a driven and detailoriented Build and Release Engineer with strong experience in Azure Jenkins and .NETbased environments. In this hybrid role based in Toronto youll play a key role in modernizing and optimizing our build infrastructure ensuring smooth scalable and automated release pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current build and release infrastructure including configurations and responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine the initial migration strategy for transitioning build systems
- Build and demonstrate a proof of concept using a selected repository
- Design a robust migration plan for all remaining repositories
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to align on rollout strategy
- Lead the implementation of the migration plan across the engineering ecosystem
- Document all aspects of the build system including setup maintenance optimization and usage best practices
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline
- 6 years of handson experience in build/release engineering CI/CD automation or backend infrastructure roles
- Strong background in C# and the .NET framework
- Indepth experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
- Solid understanding of Docker and containerized deployment pipelines
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting; familiarity with Groovy scripting is a plus
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloudbased build workflows
- Knowledge of code generation tools and automation frameworks to enhance development efficiency
- Experience with Windows Installer technologies such as MSI and WiX Toolset
- Methodical and analytical problemsolver with a passion for clean maintainable automation
