7 years of engineering experience in safetycritical system design
Proven track record in leading hardware/software projects for regulated industries
Experience working with certification standards such as DO254 DO178C and DO160
Strong knowledge of engineering planning estimates documentation and quality processes
Skilled in risk analysis and mitigation strategies
Effective communicator and crossfunctional collaborator
Bachelors degree in Electrical Software or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required
Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering execution for projects governed by safety and certification standards
Develop project estimates engineering plans and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate deliverables across teams spanning hardware software QA certification and manufacturing
Ensure compliance with DO178C DO254 DO160 and internal development processes
Monitor progress prepare status reports and resolve issues impacting timelines or quality
Support continuous product innovation and contribute to process improvement efforts
Act as the technical liaison with Program Management Quality Assurance and Certification groups
