What Youll Be Doing:
As a Design Manager youll play a pivotal role in delivering critical water and defence infrastructurethink wastewater systems treatment plants desalination chemical dosing hydrogen solutions and Defence infrastructure.
Youll be involved from early concept through to detailed design bringing together multidisciplinary teams and engaging closely with clients to ensure quality cost and schedule are all aligned. Youll help create solutions that are innovative sustainable and beneficial for generations to come.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design delivery across multiple projects and programs with a focus on collaboration quality and outcomes.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and shared goals.
Drive earlystage design work across engineering environmental sustainability and safety disciplines.
Mentor guide and empower a team of professionals to grow and succeed in a supportive environment.
Use data and forecasting tools to support decisions around cost schedule and risk.
Ensure high performance and a positive team culture through strong leadership and project oversight.
What Youll Bring:
A relevant engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in infrastructure designespecially within water or defence sectors.
Strong leadership qualities and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated capability in project management including cost scheduling and change control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Applicants must currently reside in Australia and hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance is highly regarded.
