The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking an entry level Information Systems Engineer to help provide overall system integration support for a complex military development program with our C4ISR Division.
The Command Control Communications Computers Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers missioncritical solutions specializing in cyber operations information architecture strategic deterrence and ISR. Our divisions commitment to innovation and security enables us to provide critical solutions across defense intelligence and national security. Responsibilities
- Analyzes designs and deploys physical and virtual Linux and Windows workstations and servers to satisfy program requirements
- Analyzes designs and implements Active Directory Group PolicyObjects (GPOs) to meet NIST80053 security controls
- Researches designs develops and implements security controls policiesand procedures to ensure system hardware and software is in compliance with Department of Defense Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Conductsroot cause analysesto identify and resolve technical deficiencies
- Develops and refines technical requirements and test plans to meet organization and customer standards
- Develops technical documentation to meet U.S. Air Force Configuration Control Board (CCB) standards
- Elicits analyzes and validates system requirements through stakeholder engagement and system analysis
- Identifies design gaps and potential risk areas through proactive risk gap analysis
- Develops and maintains requirements traceability and corresponding test procedures
- Works with internal and external customers to meet program requirements and schedules
- Works under minimal direction and independently determines and develops solutions and improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field
- 03 years related experience
- Experience designing developing and deploying opensource mapping solutions similar to TileServer GL
- Experience with Linux Linux Containers (LXC) and opensource Linuxbased virtualization technologies (e.g. Proxmox XCPng Nutanix etc.)
- Experience analyzing designing developing and deploying an opensource Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solution (e.g. ELK Wazuh SIEM/XDR)
- Willing to travel to the Republic of Korea for short or extended periods (up to 24 weeks)
- Experience with Information System Engineering principles processes and procedures
- Strong understanding of requirement management processes and validation strategies
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Storage Area Network (SAN) Network Attached Storage (NAS) or DirectAttached Storage (DAS) systems
- Experience configuring and supporting Dell VxRail servers Dell EMC Isilon or Dell EMC Unity storage appliances
- Experience analyzing designing developing and deploying hardware and software solutions that satisfy NIST 80053 standards
- Understanding of networking including subnets routing and VLANs
- DoD 8140 certification
- Experience with U.S. Government certification and accreditation processes

- $67000$81000
- Salary commensurate based on education and relevant experience
