Job Description
Electrical CAD Technician Up to $28/hr
Location: Fort Worth TX
Pay Rate: Up to $28 per hour (based on experience)
PTS Advance is seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join a dynamic team supporting detailers designers and engineers on a variety of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in drafting and design with the ability to assist in the development of computeraided drafting (CAD) solutions across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise engineering drawings and layouts from specific sketches or layouts.
Assist in drafting design and documentation for various engineering projects.
Create and update plot drawings while following company and client drafting standards.
Use standard drafting detail programs to support technical project needs.
Research and propose solutions to designrelated challenges.
Participate in efforts to improve drafting detail processes and standards.
Work on ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Ensure compliance with all company policies standards and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
We are not seeking entrylevel candidates; relevant experience is required.
Education & Experience (one of the following must be met):
Bachelors degree in Drafting Technology or related field OR
Associates degree plus a minimum of 1 year of related drafting/design experience OR
High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive detailing and design experience.
(Note: Internship experience will not count toward the minimum experience requirement.)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
Selfmotivated eager to learn and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to follow drafting practices and procedures.
