Job Description

Waldorf Astoriais looking for anAssistant Outlets Managerto join this gorgeousAtlantaproperty!

Located in one of Atlantas most prestigious neighborhoods this 42story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences) over 10000 square feet of meeting space and 3 food and beverage outlets.This includes the 3meal restaurant bar and inroom dining.

In this role you will report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess flexible availability including evenings and weekends. They will also have at least three years of prior experience in Food and Beverage with at least one year of supervisory experience. The team is ideally seeking a motivated individual who possess the experience to lead and coach their team members. Experience with Forbes standards of service or in fine dining will elevate any applicable resume.


What will I be doing

As an Assistant Outlets Manager you would be responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of Brassica (Restaurant & Bar) and InRoom Dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist in the management of Restaurant & Bar and InRoom Dining operations to include but not limited to guest service food and beverage quality inventory management outlet reservations and occupancy systems management report generation department management and meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls.
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include but not limited to providing supervision and professional development scheduling conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries requests and issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner and resolve guest concerns.
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Assist in recruiting interviewing and training team members.
