Position Overview:
The RV Parts Countersales position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to retail customers service technicians and RV owners seeking parts and accessories.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Provide high level service to both internal and external customers
- Check in and very parts orders accurately
- Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
- Notify parts manager of outofstock parts or shop material
- Be able to understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts as well as other safety and maintenance documents
- Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information to customers
- Review body shop estimates to verify the parts orders and pricing is correct
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Prior auto part sales experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts including discounts interests commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume
