Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist Rehab/Long Term Care Facility (SNF)

Location: Washington D.C. in person

Job Type: This is a full time direct hire Physical Therapist role for a rehab facility in Washington DC. This position offers a flexible schedule to accommodate commuting needs.

Rate: $55 $60 hr/ DOE

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist for direct hire opening in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and a passion for helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including but not limited to orthopedics acute care and pediatrics.
  • Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans exercises and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes using medical terminology.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Requirements

  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or a compact license.
  • Experience in orthopedics acute care clinic settings or home health is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients families and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of physical therapy.
