Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Nutrition Manager II
Location: Grand Forks ND (Onsite 1 day remote/flexible schedule)
Employment Type: FullTime

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager role at a newly built standalone acute care multispecialty hospital located in Grand Forks North Dakota.

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about managing a highperforming team while maintaining a handson clinical presence. Registered Dietitians in this facility have order writing privileges allowing them to work at the top of their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the clinical nutrition program within the hospital setting
  • Supervise a team of 4 Dietitians and 5 Diet Clerks (both inpatient and outpatient)
  • Provide direct patient care (20% of the time)
  • Oversee Sodexos meal service program and menu management implementation
  • Lead performance improvement and quality management initiatives
  • Foster a learning culture and support professional development within the team

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registered Dietitian credentials
  • Masters degree with required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND guidelines
    • (Bachelors accepted only if eligible for RD exam prior to 01/01/2024)
  • Must meet RD/RDN eligibility requirements by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and become registered within 120 days of hire
  • State certification/licensure as required at time of hire
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Minimum 13 months management experience including supervising people and resources
  • Strong communication leadership and customer service skills
  • Experience with regulatory accreditation readiness and review processes
  • Proven ability to maintain and improve standards of care
