Electrical Project Engineer
Hunt Valley MD Onsite Fulltime
Industry: Civil Engineering Experience: 510 years
Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

Overview:
A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support facility engineering and design projects across sectors such as transportation healthcare water/wastewater education and public works. This is a handson role involving the full project cycle from concept to construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform design computations and develop construction cost estimates

Create designs and contract documents using Revit and CADD
-
Ensure compliance with NEC NFPA and IBC codes
-
Coordinate with internal teams and attend client meetings
-
Prepare specifications and final bid documents
MustHave Qualifications:
-
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
-
510 years experience in building electrical systems
(e.g. power distribution fire alarms motor controls telecom lighting) -
Proficient with AutoDesk CADD Revit and disciplinespecific software
-
Familiar with NEC IBC NFPA codes
-
Working knowledge of MS Office 365
-
Valid drivers license and ability to pass motor vehicle screening
NicetoHaves:

Professional Engineer (PE) license
-
Familiarity with Microstation AGi32 ElumTools SKM or ETAP

Experience with government agency projects and local code compliance
Work Conditions:

90% officebased; occasional fieldwork

Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) and regional travel as needed
