Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Located in Las Vegas Nevada we are looking for aNDT Technician to assist with issuing a continuous flow of units for repair inspection or overhaul to the Operations Department to support the overall sales and purchasing efforts of the TPAerospace group of companies. The employee will ensure that this is done in accordance with the companys Quality standard.
- Perform NonDestructive Testing (NDT) of aircraft wheels and brakes using the following NDT Inspections:
- Eddy Current (ET)
- Fluorescent Magnetic Particle (MT)
- Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant (PT)
- Set up maintain repair shop equipment to ensure maximum performance.
- Follow established quality control systems and procedures to ensure both company and regulatory compliance.
- Completes necessary related documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
YOUR PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Selfstarter capable of working with limited supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including written procedures in various manufacturers component maintenance manuals.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Work well in a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Able to work overtime including weekends when required based upon workload
- Must be able to continuously lift 50 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum oneyear previous Aircraft wheel and brake maintenance experience
- Minimum oneyear previous NDT experience in all disciplines
