Job Summary

The GRM Third Party Risk (TPR) team is accountable for RBCs enterprisewide Third Party Risk management (TPRM) strategy and framework enabling RBC to identify measure monitor and mitigate the risks associated with third parties. TPR works with Senior Management across RBCs business platforms and functions providing oversight and challenge to ensure effective implementation of TPRM practices in compliance with regulatory and policy requirements. TPR also provides strategic advice education and key practices across RBC.

To ensure the effectiveness and support the evolution of the TPRM Program the TPR Practice Management team evaluates existing practices leveraging data and analytics best practices in the industry and regulatory requirements and propose alternatives to strengthen procedures workflows and controls that will enable the identification and mitigation of thirdparty risk in a consistent manner across stakeholders.

What is the Opportunity

The Analyst Third Party Risk Analytics is responsible for collecting organizing and analyzing third party related data to support the development and maintenance of RBC risk management practices to effectively and efficiently manage risks arising from Third Parties in line with regulatory requirements including endtoend Enterprise Third Party Risk process tools applications and external and internal data sources.

What will you do

The Analyst is responsible for:

  • Supporting in the design build deploy and maintain RBCs enterprise thirdparty risk process and practices from a continuous improvement perspective and in line with key regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Supporting workstreams related to the CNB integration to RBC practices specifically related to potential enhancements and data migration to our internal system platforms facilitating stakeholder awareness/collaboration monitoring activities to completion in timely manner and reporting progress internally in line with defined plan for remediation;
  • Collaborating with the overall adoption of the enterprise practices by the different business segments and lines of defense including development and execution of training and communication plan.

Additionally the Analyst will also:

  • Provide data insights to enable evolution of Enterprise TPR Practices
  • Support Program Integration and Implementation across 1 LOD and 2 LOD stakeholders
  • Support Regulatory Compliance Reporting
  • Act as a Leader in TPR and GRM Operational Risk

What do you need to succeed

Musthave

  • Working towards a businessrelated university degree
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated interest in Risk Management Governance and Controls of Third Parties (suppliers) and/or Operational Risk
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint Excel Word)
  • Data Analytics Data Modelling and Reporting

Nicetohave

  • Working towards postgraduate degree with a focus in business
  • Proficiency with Tableau or other similar visualization tools
  • Familiarity with programming
  • Prior internship experience in a governance or controls type team
  • Previous experience of working in a financial institution

Please note:This posting is for a 4months Fall 2025 Student placement with a start date of September 2025 and end date of December 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4months Student position you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term enddate of December 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2025) you must require the full 4months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
