Compensation
The pay range for this position is $29 $32/hour and is based on specialized experience and location.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport is the only allsuite fullservice hotel closest to downtown San Francisco near San Francisco International Airport. Located only 25 minutes from San Francisco and convenient to the Bay Areas top corporations our 316 room hotel with 10000 sq ft of meeting space is the perfect venue for both leisure business travelers offsite meetings and celebrations.
What will I be doing
As a Catering Sales Manager you would be responsible for soliciting securing and responding to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage and use of event facilities in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Solicit secure and respond to customer inquiries regarding the purchase of food and beverage rental of event facilities and purchase of ancillary services from the hotel
- Host and entertain customers conduct property tours promote facilities and services and draft contracts
- Communicate with and provide direction and supervision to team members to execute catering events
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Create and maintain relationship with clients to set and meet their expectations and ensure satisfaction
- Demonstrate product knowledge including booking systems menu pricing and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints settling disputes and finding resolutions
- Selling and influencing both internal and external customers
- Ensure high quality service through teamwork and communication
- Perform other duties as assigned according to business needs
