Job Description

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and valueadded services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With over 1.1 million squarefeet sales and services facilities in the United States Canada Australia Singapore Brazil PAGs 27 locations and customerfocused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.

JOB PURPOSE

The Assembly Technician role will involve assembling servicing and testing various aircraft landing gear components and parts.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:

Utilize manufacturers and internal technical data to properly assemble service and test aircraft landing gear components and parts.

Proper use of common hand tools and precision measuring equipment including torque measuring devices.

Document status/results/completion in internal computer database programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking bending and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eyehand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Equipment Operated: Common hand tools test fixtures compressed nitrogen grease guns various general shop and office machines/equipment.

Work Location: 1014 N. Flowood Drive Flowood MS 39232

Protective Equipment Required: PPE will be provided.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets.

Education/Training: Taskspecific training will be provided.

Experience: No specific experience required but general mechanical assembly/repair experience preferred.

Certificates/Licenses: Valid drivers license required; FAA Mechanic certificate preferred.

Other: Other duties may be assigned in role to support other departments personnel or projects.
