What is the opportunity

Are you interested in the opportunity to work as an Analyst within the Procurement Data Stewardship team at RBC If so this is the job for you!

Youll be part of a fun and engaged team that is made up of master storytellers with tremendous analytic horsepower that use facts and data to solve problems (big and small) and improve outcomes. To be successful youll have expert analytic capabilities and a strong attention to detail. Youll collaborate closely with colleagues across Global Procurement have a willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to embrace change.

What will you do

  • Data Analysis Work with Global Procurement data sets (contract and supplier data) to optimize refine and delivery improved data accuracy across these key data sets
  • Analytics Leverage your analytical prowess to solve tough problems and support the goals and objectives of Global Procurement.
  • Reporting Update maintain and refine routine reports within Global Procurement
  • Storytelling Compel meaningful outcomes (changes actions and more) through powerful and effective storytelling that adapts across all mediums and audiences. Partner with stakeholders to manage the impacts and change that may come from strategies youve developed.
  • Continuous improvement always challenge the status quo: Support various strategic initiatives (big and small) including process redesign strategy development budget and prioritysetting digital culture transformation and more its an exciting and fastpaced environment and youll be required to leverage your problemsolving communication project management change management and creativity skills to be successful

What do you need to succeed

Musthave

  • Currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution with a focus in Finance Accounting Business Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias
  • Strong in Microsoft Office applications; particularly in Excel (pivots complex logic statements lookups etc.)
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is selfdriven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
  • Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
  • Superb written and oral communication skills

Nicetohave

  • A smattering of other technical prowess: MS Access Power BI Tableau surprise us
  • Ability to learn and absorb new concepts quickly and apply new knowledge

Please note:This posting is for a 4months Fall 2025 Student placement with a start date of September 2025 and end date of December 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4months Student position you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term enddate of December 2025; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2025) you must require the full 4months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
