Domestic Workers Support at Home

We are currently seeking Domestic Workers to join our Support at Home team in the Huon Valley Kingborough and Channel regions.
What youll do:
As a Domestic Worker you will provide essential home help to older people helping them maintain a clean safe and welcoming home environment. Your work enables clients to live independently and with dignity. Duties may include:
- General cleaning vacuuming dusting mopping bathrooms and kitchens
- Laundry washing drying folding ironing changing bed linen
- Meal prep assisting with simple nutritious meals and safe food storage
- Shopping grocery shopping and unpacking where required
- Social support friendly conversation and encouraging independence during tasks
- Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing to the care team
Youll work with multiple clients per shift and are paid for travel time between visits. A generous kilometre allowance also applies.
What were looking for:
- Experience in cleaning housekeeping or domestic support (formal or informal)
- Friendly respectful and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well
- Understanding of infection control food safety and privacy principles
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Valid drivers licence reliable vehicle registration and insurance
- National Police Check (within 3 months of employment)
- Current First Aid certificate (desirable but not essential)
