Based in our dynamic Laverton North facility were looking for an experienced Car Buyer with vehicle wholesale background buying and sourcing suitable cars directly from multiple channels. Youll play a pivotal role in collaborating with our sourcing team to bring only the best vehicles to our customers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Source vehicles for acquisition through multiple channels such as auctions private sellers and dealerships.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for profitable purchases.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with sellers to optimize margins and minimize risk.
- Perform comprehensive inspections to ensure vehicles meet quality and condition standards.
- Manage transportation and logistics to guarantee prompt delivery to the dealership.
- Keep detailed records of all purchases including costs seller details and vehicle histories.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in vehicle purchasing used car sales or a related role in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of various makes models and current market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to accurately evaluate vehicle condition and value.
- Possession of a valid drivers license.
