About the Job
The CDL Regional Driver will be responsible for safely efficiently and courteously delivering our products to customers. The ideal candidate will be an industry professional who not only delivers products but is also capable of positively engaging with customers. Southern Ionics values a schedule that minimizes time away from home and we maintain our own growing fleet of dedicated trucks and tank trailers.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all DOT and inhouse regulations
- Follow traffic laws and procedures
- Manage routes and routines for efficiency
- Inspect trucks and report issues to management
- Refuel and clean truck
- Follow accident procedures
- Keep CDL and required endorsements up to date
- Meet physically demanding requirements of the job
You Must Have
- Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- Current TWIC card or ability to get card
- Current HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years commercial driving experience

Compensation
