Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Senior Application Architect at our corporate headquarters in Dallas Texas. The purpose of this job is to provide software design expertise guidance and oversite of Austins enterprisewide software solutions. This role will work to understand the business needs of Austin and design/implement software solutions to meet those needs. The Senior Application Architect will oversee our software development lifecycle and work to continually improve our processes.

- Application architecture
- Software development
- DevOps and deployment pipeline frameworks
- Software strategy and documentation
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage in software development projects to provide architecture design and oversite
- Ensure software quality by reviewing applications and making recommendations to improve
- Define standards for development architecture
- Develop frameworks for software development and integrations
- Document system and application architectures
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud architectures
- Strong technical leadership skills
- Experience front end and backend frameworks such as React and
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical customer services and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadline driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- 10 years of fullstack software development experience
- 5 years of software architecture experience
- Proficient in multiple programming languages such as C C Java Python Angular
