In this position...
The engineer will coordinate the sessions required to generate and follow up on projects to improve quality from conception to implementation.
Engineer will coordinate and/or support as required the validation of design changes derived from projects to improve quality indicators
Engineer will review and Validate the manufacturing process to confirm the proper execution of all Body Exterior Quality projects.
Engineer will Verify and confirm that body exterior quality projects meets Ford Motor Company requirements.
Engineer will Keep track of the Body Exterior Quality projects.
Create and manage reports to provide status.
Responsibilities
Conduct Quality analysis to solve technical challenges of body exterior systems and components.
Support initiatives and efforts to yield new products using Quality tools to prevent and reduce quality issues.
Perform detailed Quality analyses to verify the vehicle performance targets
Interact with the design teams (D&R Design & Release) VRTs PVTs FCSDs CAD (Computer Assisted Design) and VE (Vehicle Engineering) to improve quality.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or science
Good math science technology and IT skills
The ability to analyze complex problems and assess possible solutions
The ability to explain design projects clearly and strong decisionmaking skills
Excellent communication skills both in Spanish and English
Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
A commitment to keep up to date with new technology
Excellent team working and people skills
