What Youll Do in This Role:
The Quality Business Partner is responsible for ensuring team member compliance with annual education requirements by partnering with the Assisted Living team to plan develop implement coordinate and evaluate training programs. This role also oversees team member health requirements including coordination of the annual flu clinic TB testing compliance and serves as a resource for guidance and intervention related to communicable diseases across all levels of living.
Primary Responsibilities:
Training and Development:
- Facilitate Skills Day Medication Pass and CPR training sessions.
- Provide onthespot education and serve as a resource for staff across departments.
- Support and coach team members on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Conduct posttraining followup to ensure understanding and skill retention.
- Develop and deliver ongoing education and training to meet organizational needs.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule all skillsbased training and education sessions.
- Create and maintain the annual training calendar based on department needs.
- Develop policies and procedures related to education training and quality.
- Provide oversight of the Relias Learning Management System.
- Coordinate annual flu clinics and required vaccinations for team members and residents.
- Track callins and manage COVID19 followup procedures in alignment with protocols.
Quality Initiatives:
- Actively participate in quality improvement and training projects.
- Conduct rounds and spotcheck audits to monitor performance and compliance.
- Implement systems for tracking evaluating and reporting training outcomes and quality initiatives.
Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure all training offerings meet licensing certification and jobspecific requirements.
- Conduct routine audits of training records and team member compliance.
- Track and report on new hire compliance and required onboarding education.
- Collaborate with the Quality Associate to ensure accuracy and timeliness of staff training records.
Community Engagement & Culture Building:
- Participate in Assisted Living QAPI meetings.
- Promote and support Brio Living Services culture change initiatives.
- Partner with department managers to identify and support Brio Buddies for onboarding.
- Serve as a liaison to external educational institutions for clinical rotations and learning opportunities.
What it takes:
- Must possess Medical Assistant training or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in direct patient care providing education and training preferably in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living settings.
- Availability for occasional afterhours or weekend work to ensure training coverage for all staff.
- Demonstrated experience with use of electronic health records (EMR) software programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
