Now Hiring: Youth Employment & Life Skills Coach (PartTime $18.00 to $20.00/hr Bonus Potential)
Up to 25 hours/week Flexible hours during and after school
Do you have a passion for helping youth with disabilities build brighter futures Join Easterseals Florida as a Youth Employment & Life Skills Coach and make a real difference in the lives of students by helping them prepare for and succeed in the workforce.
Position Overview:
In this impactful role youll guide high school students with disabilities through employment readiness job placement onthejob training and life skills development. Youll work both in classroom settings and oneonone with students helping them build confidence independence and the tools they need to thrive in competitive employment.

What Youll Do:
- Teach essential workplace and life skills using certified curriculum
- Guide youth through job readiness job search and job placement
- Coach and support students during internships job shadowing and field experiences
- Provide individualized vocational counseling and selfadvocacy training
- Collaborate with schools families and local employers
What Were Looking For:
Required:
- Associates degree and 2 years experience in vocational rehab job coaching placement or working with persons with disabilities
- Experience supporting individuals with job skills life skills and behavioral needs
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the area (must meet driver requirements)
Preferred (or willing to obtain within 30 days):
- VR Employment Specialist Certification
- AHLEI TraintheTrainer Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
