Brief Job Overview

The Microbiologics Program Manager is an individual contributor role based in the Strategic
Operations function of the Biologics department that support leaders in USPs Microbiology Business
Unit to plan coordinate and ensure completion of projects and products on time within budget and
within scope. Working in a global matrix environment the role will actively collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across Divisions at all organizational levels within a governance structure to
develop implement and manage a synchronized operational production plan. In this role the incumbent
will balance routine program management work with crossfunctional business process development and
new capability building responsibilities.

Additionally USPs People and Culture division in partnership with the Equity Office invests in
leadership and workforce development to equip all employees with the skills to create highperforming

collaborative and resultsdriven work environments.

The Microbiologics Program Manager has the following responsibilities:
Develop production plans in collaboration with crossfunctional team and manage plan
performance.
Lead/manage crossfunctional teams including improvement initiatives and new capability
building to synchronize operational work and resolve roadblocks.
Apply project management best practices to fulfill responsibilities.
Assume a strategic partner role in programmatic work with stakeholders.
Work closely with business unit leadership to develop and manage project timelines milestones
and work plans.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient
manner.
Provide tailored project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy
adjustments and progress.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Act as communication and strategy link between USPs Microbiology and Biologics business
units.

Who is USP Looking For

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission commitment to
excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices ability to quickly build credibility
with stakeholders along with the following competencies and experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in a science based discipline or relevant field.
Five (5) years of relevant experience in life science industry or healthcare environment.
Five (5) years of experience managing multiple complex programs.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: USD $83500.00 $106250.00 annually.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidates skill set
experience qualifications equity and other jobrelated reasons.
