What youll be doing:

Were looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team based in Glasgow. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager youll play a key role in delivering accurate timely financial information and maintaining strong financial controls that support decisionmaking at every level of the business.
Owning the monthend close process including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
Leading profit & loss and balance sheet reviews including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
Working closely with the Sales team on billing and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
Designing and maintaining robust internal controls that underpin the reliability of financial reporting.
Overseeing bank reconciliations AP/AR controls and managing cash flow forecasts.
Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Coaching and supporting our Accounts Assistant as part of their development.
Pitching in with ad hoc finance projects as part of a collaborative team environment.
We want to hear from you if you:
- Are a qualified ACCA / CIMA / ICAS
- Have previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Have some experience supervising or mentoring junior staff or a willingness to take that step.
- Are a confident communicator with strong Excel/IT capabilities.
