Direct Support Professional
- Pay: $15.00 $17.00 per hour (depending on shift and experience)

The Early Learning Center:
The Early Learning Center (ELC) in Oak Ridge Tennessee is a licensed inclusive preschool program operated by the Emory Valley Center (EVC). Located at 728 Emory Valley Road the center serves children from 6 weeks to 6 years old offering both centerbased and homebased early childhood education. The ELC is committed to providing a nurturing environment that supports the development of each child including those with developmental disabilities.
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist lead teachers with daily activities and lesson implementation.
- Supervision: Monitor childrens behavior and interactions to ensure safety.
- Personal Care: Assist with toileting diapering feeding and other personal care needs.
- Classroom Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Behavioral Guidance: Support positive behavior through consistent routines and reinforcement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of childrens progress and daily activities.
