Job Description
Responsible for the development integration and implementation of software applications to support the companys business strategies and objectives. Provide technical consulting to management and business users as well as mentoring other team members. Create functional specifications and determine the most efficient/appropriate technologies that should be used to implement a solution. Review and submit technical recommendations for process improvement. Design application and database components for development projects. Perform analysis of business models logical specifications and/or customer requirements to design and build solutions. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to troubleshoot critical production issues. Develop new software applications based on business requirements. This position requires 30% international travel. Role is hybrid within a reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland OH office. Multiple openings available.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as an IT Developer Application Developer Software Developer Web Developer or related role where required experience gained.
In lieu of a Bachelors degree in stated fields and five (5) years of stated experience employer will accept a Masters degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS:Also requires experience in the following:
- Three (3) years of IT experience;
- Three (3) years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle;
- Three (3) years of experience in an Enterprise Database Management System preferably Microsoft SQL Server;
- Three (3) years of TSQL or PL/SQL/MySQL experience;
- Three (3) years of J2EE experience including Java Servlets Java Server Pages (JSP) ORM frameworks JDBC web services JavaScript BootStrap Ajax CSS HTML; and
- Retail point of sale software.
