Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Infrastructure System Engineer fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your Tasks
- Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended or designed by the Software or Infrastructure Architects;
- Design development tests documentation release control maintenance and technical support of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications;
- Proof of concept prototyping of infrastructure solutions;
- Technical responsibility for infrastructure development projects;
- Assistance and support to Software Architects and Information System Developers;
- Provision of technical studies technical expertise technical evaluations in relation with Information Systems infrastructure;
- Production of technical documentationtion;
- Assistance with configuration of the system for production deployment and in training administrators and users;
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software;
- Compile and analyze data processes and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 5 years;
- Good knowledge of web applications apps backend applications infrastructure script or other development area as required to perform the specified tasks;
- Knowledge of relational database management;
- Experience in componentbased and serviceoriented applications development or configuration;
- Experience in managing Windows Update services and endpoint management systems;
- Knowledge of Web and network infrastructure including VPN;
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and docker technologies;
- Good understanding of IT security requirements;
- Excellent command of the English language.
