OSTTRA sits at the heart of this system as a leading fintech player and the teams in Stockholm builds the advanced tools that make it possible.
We are now looking for you a Software Developer to join our triCalculate team. Your role will be to transform complex financial mathematics created by our expert team of quants into robust scalable and reliable software used by the worlds largest financial institutions for critical risk management. You will directly impact how global financial workflows are secured and managed.
The role as a Software Developer in triCalculate
As a key technical player in the triCalculate application team you will develop the core of a product that serves as the engine for advanced risk calculations. Your responsibility spans the entire system lifecycle from early design and architecture discussions to implementation testing and operation.
Your key contributions include:
- Actively contribute to the systems development and architectural design primarily focusing on microservices.
- Ensure high code quality system scalability and maintainability by adhering to established architectural principles.
- Work proactively with system health performance monitoring (observability) and incident management.
- Implement complex financial models and calculation logic in close collaboration with our internal quant team.
- Understand customer needs and challenges to contribute relevant technical solutions.
Tech stack: We work in a modern and dynamic environment including Python Go Kubernetes as well as NoSQL databases. We constantly strive to use the right tools for the job.

The Stockholmbased team is collaborative autonomous and consists of driven helpful colleagues with diverse backgrounds. We strongly believe that we learn and grow best together through open communication and shared responsibility. Here youll have the opportunity to influence our technical strategies ways of working and tool choices. The application team works closely with our quant team to transform models and ideas into functional systems. The team takes full responsibility for the entire development lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 35 years of relevant experience working with microservices including designing new systems and services.
- Has experience in DevOps functions.
- An aptitude and willingness to improve yourself others around you and our ways of working.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an autonomous and collaborative environment.
- Has good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Someone who will work from the office at least 3 days per week.
Bonus points if you have:
- A Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Physics Systems Science or a similar relevant field.
- A demonstrated interest in financial markets and the fintech domain.
