Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Other: Plus successful completion of medical terminology course is required.
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
BLSBasic Life Support Healthcare Provider
SCP Completes Management of Assaultive Behavior. within Completes Management of Assaultive Behavior.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Must have demonstrated proficiency in computer skills.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
Previous employment in a healthcare setting i.e. CNA Rehab technician EMT ED technician required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication skills and basic computer proficiency skills.
Excellent communication skills required.
Must have the ability to handle a variety of stressful situations while remaining calm professional flexible and work independently.
Demonstrates the ability to operate basic office equipment i.e. fax machine computer copier etc.

Pay Range is $29.13 to $33.51 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
