The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Entrylevel or Associate Fabrication Specialist (Painter) to join the team based out of Salt Lake City Utah.

Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for painting the exterior and interior areas of a companys projects
- Execute prepainting activities including cleaning scraping sanding patching caulking and masking of adjacent surfaces prior to painting papering texturing etc. if required
- Follow managements instructions in maintaining an inventory of paint and supplies
- Follow the managers instruction in executing the job utilizing appropriate finishes and applications
- Comply with OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to the use of hazardous chemicals
- Stay up to date with storage and disposal laws regulations codes etc.
- Cleaning of areas supplies and equipment at the completion of project
- Assist in storing leftover paint in the appropriate locations
- Support team with special maintenance projects as needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 months of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience
- 3 months of experience sanding taping mixing material and application of paint
- 3 months of experience in industrial paint prep/masking
- Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing bending kneeling and lifting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement Standard Work and 5S tools)
- Experience managing or working with safety quality and manufacturing performance data
