Job Description
This is a remote position.
MUST BE A FINRALICENSED INVESTMENT BANKER WITH PROVEN STARTUP CAPITAL RAISING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR SUCCESSFEE COMPENSATION.
ACCEPTABLE FINRA SECURITIES REGISTRATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED:
- Series 7 General Securities Representative
- Series 63 Uniform Securities State Law Exam
- Series 79 Investment Banking Representative
- Series 82 Private Securities Offerings Representative

SMG is a private equity advisory startup built on the principles of rigor integrity and value creation. We partner with toptier private equity investors and portfolio companies supporting sourcing diligence and value creation. Our prior engagements include institutional investors managing $100B with consultants from McKinsey Bain Carlyle Deloitte and other toptier firms.
About the Engagement:
SMG is seeking a FINRALICENSED INVESTMENT BANKER to support our $500K $1M Angel Round (Reg D 506(c)) by making warm introductions to accredited HNW Angel Investors and/or entrepreneurial Family Offices.
This is a targeted capital introduction/referral mandate not a fullscope investment banking engagement.
Given the prior unsolicited $500K SAFE term sheet completed diligence investorready materials and minimal prep required this is a streamlined validated capital raise ideal for professionals with strong HNW Angel Investor relationships and successfee flexibility.
Apply if you:
- Have a strong personal network of accredited HNW Angel Investors / Family Offices
- Have experience with earlystage angelstage preseed or founderled raises (Reg D 506(c))
- Are open to performancebased compensation (successfee or equitylinked terms only; no upfront cash comp)
- Hold the required FINRA licenses to lawfully receive successfee compensation (e.g. Seriesor equivalent).
Compensation:
- Successfee paid only upon investor close
- Optional equity participation based on contribution and strategic alignment
