You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a dedicated and qualified Dietitian to join our clinical team in delivering highquality nutrition care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs developing tailored nutrition care plans and providing diet counseling for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is key to supporting overall patient wellness and recovery by integrating nutritional science into healthcare delivery.
Assess patients nutritional status and design individualized diet plans.
Provide medical nutrition therapy for various conditions including diabetes hypertension renal disease and gastrointestinal disorders.
Offer nutrition counseling and health education to patients and caregivers.
Monitor patient outcomes and revise dietary plans as needed.
Collaborate with doctors nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
Develop and review menus for therapeutic diets to meet clinical requirements.
Maintain detailed documentation in line with hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
Contribute to community outreach health talks and wellness programs.
Stay current with the latest research and practices in dietetics and nutrition.
Education & Certification:
Bachelor s degree in Dietetics Nutrition or a related field (Master s degree is an advantage).
Registered with the Dietitians Association of Nigeria (DAN) or equivalent professional body.
Valid and uptodate practicing license.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 3 years experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
Experience in maternal and child nutrition therapeutic diets or critical care nutrition is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
Indepth understanding of medical nutrition therapy.
Strong counseling and interpersonal skills.
Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
Excellent recordkeeping and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in nutritionrelated software and Microsoft Office Suite.
