You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Radiologist to join our radiology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies and collaborating with clinical teams to provide highquality patient care. This role involves both clinical and supervisory responsibilities and offers opportunities to work with advanced imaging technologies in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Analyze and interpret diagnostic images including Xrays CT scans MRIs ultrasound and mammograms.
Prepare and deliver accurate radiology reports to referring physicians.
Provide expert guidance in imageguided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures where applicable.
Work closely with clinicians to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
Oversee the daily operations of the imaging suite and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Supervise radiologic technologists and junior staff offering training and support where necessary.
Participate in departmental meetings audits and research activities.
Ensure strict compliance with medical ethics patient confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of current trends and technological advancements in diagnostic imaging.
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Fellowship in Radiology (FWACP FMCR or equivalent).
Full registration and current license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Minimum of 3 5 years postfellowship experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.
Proven proficiency in a wide range of imaging modalities.
Strong diagnostic communication and organizational skills.
Dedication to high standards of patient care and professional ethics.
Subspecialty training in interventional radiology pediatric imaging or neuroradiology.
Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System).
Passion for mentoring and training junior clinicians or radiographers.
