In this vital role the Senior Manager will contribute to strategic initiatives that shape Amgens future examples of which include: developing content for the annual strategy update to the Board of Directors; leading projects that address targeted strategic questions from senior leadership; and maintaining peer benchmarks and tracking industry news events that shape the competitive landscape.
Amgen is seeking a Corporate Strategy Senior Manager. The Senior Manager will report to our VP of Corporate Strategy.
We are all different yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Corporate Strategy Sr Manager we seek will have these qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of healthcare business experience
Masters degree and 4 years of healthcare business experience
Bachelors degree and 6 years of business experience
Associates degree and 10 years of business experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of business experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree (or greater) in life sciences
MBA preferred but not required
Experience in R&D or Commercial Development a plus but not required
Strong business knowledge of the healthcare landscape and biopharma industry
Financial acumen and strong analytical skills
Outstanding written and oral communications skills with an emphasis on communications to senior executives

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
