Regina Catholic Education Center an exceptional preK to 12th grade school in Iowa City seeks anelemenrtaryteacher aide for Kindergarten or 1st grade.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Teacher aides support Kindergarten and/or 1st grade teachers with classroom activities and student learning. Teacher aides alsosupervise students duringrecess times before and during the school day.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Assists teacher with lessons and activities.
- Helps students with learning and classroom routines.
- Supervises and engages students.
- Maintains a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Manages students in a proactive manner and maintains discipline at recess.
*Duties may include outdoor and indoor supervision.
Requirements:
- Experience working with schoolage children
- Capability of working outside.
- Believe in building positive relationships with studentsfamiliesand colleagues.
