Job Description
Forklift Operator
Warehouse Team
The forklift operator is an individual who operates the equipped industrial forklift to move locate relocate or stack materials in the warehouse region and to load and unload truck trailers or shipping containers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move or transfer materials between unloading processing loading and storage areas.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Report quantity variances.
- Organizing and securing stored materials such as cases boxes raw materials pallets etc.
- Loading or unloading materials manually off or on pallets platforms skids or lifting devises.
- Performing routine post and preinspections to ensure suitable working nature of forklift equipment.
- Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to racks faulty equipment or any other safety hazards.
- Consulting working and coordinating with supervisors regarding loading operations.
- Possible wrapping finished goods with a wrapper.
- Scan all materials being transferred using the RF System.
- Completing forklift operator training provided by the company annually.
- Maintain the equipment and materials in a neat clean and orderly fashion.
- Performing other duties as allotted by your supervisor.
Safety & GMP Objectives
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with established policies and procedures.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Comply with all company safety and environmental policies and procedures as well as complying with all OSHA EPA and other rules and regulations (THINK SAFETY FIRST).
*Ability to recognize unsafe acts and conditions in the facility and implement appropriate corrective actions.
*Ability to fully complete appropriate paperwork related to specific job functions in addition to quality and safety/training.
*Complete all annual training.
*Ability to recognize and report all incidents; even those that do not warrant treatment.
- Review and execute our Food Safety Plan and MFP Mission Statement in order to provide value to each of our customers with safe relevant tasty food products; while never compromising quality.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) including proper waste disposal attire grooming and hygiene etc

Forklift Operator position is backed up by other Forklift Operators on site and/or direct supervisor.
Pay Rate: $20/hour
