About the Role
Were hiring aSenior Water Resource Project Manageron behalf of our client a wellrespected civil engineering design firm with a strong regional reputation. This role is ideal for someone who is technically skilled highly organized and passionate about leading impactful stormwater and floodplain projects within a collaborative highperforming team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and management of stormwater infrastructure floodplain modeling and dam safety permitting projects.
- Oversee construction inspections and administration ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HECRAS HECHMS HY8 and Flowmaster.
- Mentor junior engineers supervise team members and foster professional development.
- Coordinate with clients regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver highquality timely project outcomes.
What Were Looking For
- 6 years of experience in water resources or civil engineering
- Proven expertise in stormwater floodplain modeling and dam safety permitting
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and H&H modeling software (HECRAS HECHMS HY8)
