We are seeking a dependable and detailoriented Cashier to join our team in Birmingham AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility accuracy and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
Greet customers warmly and respond to inquiries professionally
Handle cash credit and refund transactions with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area
Assist with stocking merchandising and inventory tasks as needed
Follow company procedures and policies regarding money handling and security
Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience
Qualifications :
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions efficiently
