Job Description
The Kuiper Customer Terminals software team is responsible for all software that runs on the terminal devices installed at Kuiper end customers locations (homes businesses etc.). The team is highly cross functional and is responsible for low level device drivers secure manufacturing MAC and PHY interactions data plane control plane and network communications.
Bachelors/Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field
10 years in embedded software development on Multicore SoCs
Experience building and shipping embedded devices to large number of customers.
Proven expertise in missioncritical systems development specifically communication systems
Deep knowledge of wireless communications protocols system architecture and design
Handson embedded software debugging and troubleshooting skills
Strong experience with optimizing system performance timing and resources utilization
Experience with presilicon validation using emulation and simulation will be a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $180100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $311200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
