The Boeing CompanyThe Air Dominance team is seeking an Associate Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the estimating team in Hazelwood MO while supporting surrounding areas such as Berkeley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor and Other Direct Costs (ODC)) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment will mainly support F22 but will also support MQ25 and Sensors and Special Programs as required.
Position Responsibilities:
Participate in evaluation of requests for proposal
Develop basis of estimates to support proposal and technical requirements
Perform analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk financial competitive etc.)
Coordinate and collaborate with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of costs estimates proposals and other related business decision data
Identify assess and implement changes to processes tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher
1 years of experience in a finance estimating or related role
1 years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 years of acquisitions experience (Labor Estimating Material Estimating and/or Contracts)
Ability to effectively support multiple projects and deadlines prioritizing tasks in a way that promotes worklife balance and inclusivity
Creative problem solving and diverse perspectives working in areas such as engineering mathematics operations research statistics business finance accounting contracts estimating and pricing business operations procurement financial analysis or a related discipline
