Overview
RiverView Health is a community owned membership based nonprofit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston MN.
RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities
FullTime Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (RN Student Preferred)
Location: Hospital Inpatient
Position Status: .9 FTE (72 hours per pay period); Nonexempt subject to OT
Schedule: 72 hours per twoweek pay period; must be able to work weekend schedule (every 6th weekend)
Pay Range: $22.29 $31.21(based on experience)
This position is ideal for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is actively pursuing their Registered Nurse (RN) credentials. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience enjoy a supportive work environment and balance your work with school commitments with opportunities to grow their clinical skills in a broadscope setting while providing highquality patientcentered care. This position is responsible for:
- Delivering safe effective nursing care under the direction of providers.
- Administering medications immunizations and treatments as directed.
- Coordinating patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Performing treatments according to facility protocols and scope of practice.
- Responding to emergent situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
- Assisting inpatient admissions discharges and transfers.
- Maintaining compliance with all hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current LPN License Minnesota
- American Heart CPR and ACLS certifications are required. Will provide training for ACLS but certification must be obtained within 4 months of employment.
Preferred(s):
- Experience in Obstetrics Medical Surgical or ICU
- Minimum of 1 year working in a healthcare setting
- EMR Epic experience
